Michelle & Aaron || Larriland Farm Engagement Session

How do you know you are in love? And how do you know you are being loved? From the first time I met with Michelle and Aaron, they share similar smiles and laughs constantly, whether they are just talking about each other or looking at the other person talk. That’s how I know they absolutely adore and in love with each other!

Their story began when they were in Boston doing an internship as graphic designers at the same place, and they ended up dating for 5 years. When college was over, Michelle decided that she wanted to move back to the DMV area to be closer to family and eventually got a job here. During that time, they learned how to maintain the relationship at long-distance and realize how much the other meant to them. Eventually, Aaron figured that what he really wants is to be where Michelle is and relocated to Virginia.

Once everything had settled down, Aaron prepared 87 reasons why he likes Michelle (which was an inside joke between them!), written on paper, strung with twine, and hung on tea lights set up in his apartment. He surprised Michelle when he invited her over, got on his knees, and ask her to marry him. She said yes and the rest is history!

For their engagement session, they wanted to capture something they enjoyed doing as a couple - visiting local farms and picking seasonal flowers and produce! So we headed to Larriland Farm in Woodbine for their session in the morning. It was a beautiful morning with sunshine, and we started at the flower bed area, picking the cosmos, marigolds, and many others! We then head over to the peach orchard, and it smelled so delicious everywhere!

It was so much fun hanging out with you guys, Michelle and Aaron! I can't wait for your wedding in just a couple weeks!!
